Setiap komputer PC, Notebook, Netbook pasti mempunyai perangkat papan ketik / keyboard. Salah satu tombol di keyboard adalah SHIFT. Tahukah kamu bahwa ternyata shift mempunyai banyak fungsi yang mungkin belum banyak diketahui. Beberapa fungsi shift bila dikombinasikan dengan tombol laen dapat memberikan efek misalnya mempercepat booting, untuk segala macam shortcut di ms word/ excel/ pwrpoint, dan lainnya.
Beberapa fungsi tombol shift antara lain :
Windows
- Kombinasi tombol shift + del untuk menghapus file dan folder secara permanen tanpa tersimpan dulu di recycle bin.
- Saat komputer booting, pencet tombol shift untuk mempercepat proses booting.
- Kombinasi shift + F10 = klik kanan
- Shift + F1 = reveal formating
- Shift + F3 = changecase / merubah huruf jadi uppercase, lowercase ato huruf besar di depan kalimat.
- Shift + F4 = sama seperti ctrl + F yaitu find and replace
- Shift + klik = open new tab (khusus internet explorer)
- Shift + Ctrl + T maka akan membuka halaman yang tadi udah di tutup (firefox)
